Five of our cats run the café for life. Two — Chikoo and Idli — are ready to run someone's living room instead. Both are healthy, sterilised and vaccinated, and both are auditioning humans right now.
Brown tabby, arrived in a delivery box last monsoon and never quite left. He's made almost entirely of elbows and optimism — the kind of kitten who greets the espresso machine like an old friend and will fetch a bottle cap if you so much as believe in him. Chikoo wants a home with room to sprint and a person who won't mind a 6am parkour session across the headboard.
White, round and roughly the temperature of a fresh idli — which is, in fact, how she got the name. She purrs at conversational volume and treats every available lap as a seat reserved permanently in her name. Idli would be happiest as the one and only cat, with a warm windowsill and someone who works from home and doesn't mind being used as furniture for the afternoon.
